Melinda and Matt were married at City Roots in Columbia, South Carolina at the end of this year. They planned a beautiful outdoor wedding filled with fall decor and colors of the season. City Roots is a great, unique venue that offers a farm setting with fields of flowers and seasonal plants. They did a great job using the space and different aspects this site has to create a gorgeous ceremony and a fun reception. I absolutely loved the freestanding mantel that they used as their alter where they exchanged their vows. This is definitely a wedding you will want to check out! There are even a few surprises along the way!
I loved that the centerpieces were all unique and so colorful! Check these out:
Melinda and Matt made sure their wedding reception was kid-friendly with a kid’s table full of fun activities! They had large games for kids of all ages to enjoy!
Melinda and Matt – M&M! How perfect it was that they had a candy bar at their wedding!
The bride’s floral headpiece was a beautiful alternative to a veil. The pearl-drop earrings and the sweetheart neckline were just perfect! Melinda, you are a beautiful bride!
Instead of a traditional guestbook, Melinda and Matt chose to have their guests leave their thumbprints on their canvas tree – making it a perfect display in their home! I love non-traditional guestbooks! What a great idea!
The look when a bride sees her groom for the first time gets me every time!
Matt made sure to invite his rugby team. Melinda made sure to tell them to all wear their socks! There is a punishment for not wearing your socks… scroll down to see!
Yep. You forget to wear your socks, then you have a take a drink out of a shoe!!
Congratulations, Melinda and Matt! May your lives together be filled with as much fun, laughter, and love that was so abundant on your wedding day!
