Brittney and James were married at The Farm at Ridgeway in front of friends and family. This is a gorgeous outdoor/indoor venue out in Ridgeway, South Carolina. One great feature of this venue is the covered porch in the back that offers a great location for a ceremony in case it rains. It also provides shade from the harsh South Carolina heat.
Brittney and I traveled out to this location to capture her bridal portraits. Click here to see more!
Even though it started to lightly rain early in the afternoon, there were plenty of beautiful places to capture Brittney’s beautiful wedding details. Brittney designed and printed her wedding stationery as she started her own business: “Designs By Brittney” click here to see!
I love all of the personal details that Brittney put into her wedding. She got personalized robes for her and her bridesmaids. She got a personalized hanger for her dress. One of the sweetest things is having a locket on her bouquet that contained a picture of her grandmother who has passed.
While the girls were getting their hair and makeup done at the salon, I captured James as he got ready to marry the love of his life. Brittney left a gift for him.
When the girls arrived, we had tons of fun capturing getting ready photos in the bridal suite.
Brittney’s niece is the absolute cutest flower girl!
Soon, it was time for last minute preparations with mom and dad in the bridal suite.
Brittney arrived to the ceremony in style! She hired a horse and carriage to take her and her father to the ceremony site. I love this fairy tale detail!
I love that even though Brittney’s niece was too small to walk the aisle by herself, she was pulled in the cutest wagon with a sign in the front and back! Isn’t she the cutest??
The reception was held inside and was decorated from head to toe! I love that the couple used uplighting to transform the space.
After the dinner and cake, the party moved out to the covered porch area for toasts and dancing.
While the bride and groom danced with their parents, pictures from their childhood were displayed on the screen next to them. It was the sweetest tribute to their parents, and it was moving to see them watching the images together.
It was then time to toss the bouquet and the garter.
Afterwards, everyone danced the night away!
For the newlywed’s final dance, guests circled around the couple and joined hands.
A sparkler exit was a beautiful send-off for the newly married couple! Congratulations, Brittney and James! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this special time in your lives as you start your journey together as husband & wife. May God bless you both!
